Phones…. cell and landline… out. Landline worked for about 24 hours. So no internet!! Boo hoo. (Using a friend's.)
Went out with chainsaw Sunday. Am quite stiff! But back didn't relapse.
Went flying Monday… couldn't see a lot wrong from the air. Not nearly as bad as UK storm of '87… thankfully. Parts of Essex have power, so there's hope!

Pine did NOT come down! I won't now feel bad about asking tree men to go up, "reduce" it.

So close! SOME Virgin flights will leave Heathrow… the first day any have… but not mine :-(

This test done in under two minutes, start to finish! From Malampuram… or something like that! (Shore temple/ Five Chariots/ Anap…'s Penance)

(PS: That should have been "Mahabalipuram", so I was close? (That's one way of saying it, and a second, similar name is also used… a bit like Bombay/ Mumbai, I believe) Our guide couldn't help falling about laughing when I tried to say "Mahabalipuram". India needs to go on a vowel diet!)
